Mentor Roundtables

Part of your commitment as a mentor is to attend two (2) Continuing Mentor Education opportunities every year.

Continuing Mentor Education opportunities include our MENTOR ROUNDTABLES and other SPECIAL EVENTS that present themselves throughout the year, as we collaborate with our community partners. These events will be communicated to you  by your school site coordinator and via email from our administrative office.

Mentor Roundtables

Being a mentor is a role unlike any other. Even those with years of experience parenting and working with kids find the need to consider the effectiveness and appropriateness of their responses to a mentee’s challenges. By mentors, for mentors, and about mentoring, these open discussions are held monthly for the purpose of giving mentors a supportive small-group experience in which to contemplate their relationships with their mentees and their unique situations. MMAT Program Director Deborah Dalton will be facilitating Mentor Roundtables on the second Thursday and second Friday of each month.
