Did you know that between the ages of 8 and 14 a girl’s confidence level falls by 30 percent? This startling fact is what compelled Stacey Vogel to create Girls United Soccer Academy, a local organization whose mission is to make a positive impact on the girls in our community.
Mentor Me is so pleased to welcome Stacey Vogel to our Cavanagh Rec Center on Thursday, Jan 30. Stacey will be sharing 8 helpful tips for building self-esteem in our mentees and for coping with the daily struggles of outside pressures. She will also present strategies for helping mentees overcome their fears of failure and how to raise their confidence in achieving their goals and dreams.
